Moroccan Green Tea and Mint: Hot or Over Ice
Rejuvenate: Let your cup of tea lift you above the daily grind, filling you with calm and vitality, let the infusion of pure water and carefully picked leaves connect you to the farmer who cultivated the tea harvest, with the person who packaged or brewed your tea and me the person who wrote this blog, and notice your breath in this moment. Listen to your heartbeat look around? Ask yourself who do you care about, who cares about you. Be grateful for this moment because actually nothing else matters for you at this moment. Rejuvenate and re-charge your soul batteries with a nice cup of Moroccan Green Tea.
Directions for Morrocan Green Tea
- Add 1 to 1 1/2 TBS of Gunpowder Green Tea to your pot Pour in about ½ cup of boiling water. Swirl the liquids around and then quickly pour out the water, taking care not to lose any of the tea leaves. (This will rinse out the bitterness and make it a much smoother tea).
- Add 1 tsp of Dry Mint or a handful of fresh mint leaves
- Add 2 - 3 TBS of Sugar or to taste
- Add 1 TBS of Orange Blossom Water or to taste (optional)
- Pour in the rest of the boiling water into the Tea Pot
- Let the mixture infuse for about 6 minutes.

Please NOTE: if using cut dry mint make sure to put it in a tea filter or a 1 mesh tea ball) so that it won’t be floating in you tea cup.)
Psalm 46, The Bible says: Be still and know that I am God. This is the gift. If you can slow down enough to pay attention to the details of this
moment then the basic goodness and raw joy of being alive is impossible to ignore. Be grateful to God for this moment
